KUMAI GOES 4-FOR-4 TO LEAD CHAFFEY OVER MICHAELS TOYOTA

6-Chaffey players had multiple hits in the game, lead by Jonathan Kumai 4-for-4, Adam Fahsel and Max Debiec both went 3-for-4, Henry Muench went 2-for-2 with a triple and Ensung Yu also went 2-for-4.

Michael’s scored the first run of the game in the bottom of the 1st, Chaffey tied the game up in the top of the 2nd, Chaffey pulled away scoring 6-runs in the top of the 3rd. Michael’s scored 2-runs in the bottom of the 3rd for their final runs of the game. Chaffey scored 4-runs in the top of the 4th and 5-runs in the 5th.

Josh Spencer threw the first 4-innings of the game and Conner Nieman came in and closed the game not allowing a runner to reach base.

TIGHT GAME WITH LANGLEY BLAZE ENDS IN A TIE

Chaffey took a 4-0 lead into the top of the 5th before Langley Blaze scored 2-runs in the top of the 5th and 6th to knot the game at 4-a piece, the game went into extra innings with the Blaze taking a 5-4 lead, Chaffey came back and scored a single run to knot the game at 5-5, neither tea,m scored in the 9th with the game ending on time limit.

in the bottom of the 8th, with the game tied Henry singled into center and Case Matter sac-bunted him into 2nd, Henry advanced to 3rd on a pass ball and scored when Max Dibiec hit a sac-fly into center to score Henry.

Jake Snyder threw the first 5-innings allowing 2-runs and giving up 3-hits, Max Dibiec threw 2-innings allowing 2-runs while not allowing a hit, Conner Nieman closed the game allowing 1-run on 2-hits.

COMEBACK FALLS SHORT AGAINST THE OKOTOKS BASEBALL ACADEMY

Chaffey’s come back fell short in the bottom of the 7th, down 6-4. Down 6-3 at the bottom of the 7th, Kyle Nyblod drew a walk and Conner Nieman followed with a line drive into left, with one out Case Matter singled up the middle to load the bases, Max Dibiec hit a sac fly into left scoring and cutting the lead 6-4. The game ended with runners on 2nd and 3rd and the go ahead run at the plate.

Offensively Henry finished the game going 2-for-3 with a double and Case going 2-for-4. Kassin Matson threw the first 5-innings spreading out 8-hits and walking 2-batters, Conner Nieman threw the last 2-innings not allowing a batter to reach base.

MUNGER’S SAC FLY IN THE BOTTOM OF THE 7TH, LEADS CHAFFEY OVER LAKESIDE

In the bottom of the 7th with bases Cam broke the 2-2 tie with a sac-fly into center to give Chaffey the 3-2 win.

The first run of the game came in the top of the 2nd-inning when Lakeside took a 1-0 lead, Chaffey came right back in the bottom of the inning, Max Dibiec reached 1st on a dropped 3rd strike, on an attempted pick-off at 1st base, Nate Deschryver then singled up the middle scoring Max from 2nd to knot the game at 1-a piece. Max lead Chaffey offensively going 2-for-2.

In the top of the 3rd Lakeside scored their 2nd run of the game, the game stayed at 2-1 until the bottom of the 5th when Chaffey knotted the game at 2-a piece. Case Matter drew a base-on-balls, Cole Miller sac-bunted Case to 2nd, Max followed with a single up the middle scoring Case to knot the game.

In the bottom of the 7th Chaffey took the lead when Case singled into right center, Cole Bunted Case to 2nd, with first base open Lakeside walked Ben Steck, Max came up and singled into left to load the bases, Cam hit a sac-fly into center scoring Case for the winning hit of the game.

Josh Spencer threw the first 4-innings only allowing 3-hits, Max cam in and closed the game out throwing 3-innings and not allowing a hit.fa

CHAFFEY TAKES A DOUBLE HEADER FROM THE BEETLES

Chaffey swept the Yakima Beetles in a double header at Parker Field Saturday afternoon 10-0 and 12-6.

In the first game Nate Deschryver and Max Dibiec combined to throw a shutout only allowing 3-hits while only walking 2-batters.

Offensively Ben Steck and Logan Moore lead Chaffey, Ben going 2-for-2 with a pair of doubles and Logan also going 2-for-2 with a pair of RBI’s and 2-stolen bases.

In the second game Chaffey scored in 6-of the 7-innings. Cam Munger was 2-for-3 with a pair of RBI’s, Max was 3-for-5 with a pair of doubles and 3-RBI’s.

Case Matter threw 3-innings with 6-strike outs and only allowing 2-hits, Nathan Prinz threw one inning not allowing a hit and Adam Fahsel threw 3-innings giving up 3-hits and not earned runs.

CHAFFEY OPENS 3-GAME SERIES WITH THE YAKIMA BEETLES

In the opening game Chaffey dropped the Yakima Beetles 15-5 at Parker Field.

Offensively Chaffey was lead by Henry Muench, Max Dibiec, Cam Munger and Hyatt Utzman, all with multiple hits in the game. Henry was 3-for-4 with 4-RBI’s and a triple, Max & Hyatt each went 2-for-3, with Hyatt driving in 4-runs, and Cam finishing going 2-for-3.

Chaffey scored 5-runs in the 2nd and multiple runs in the 4th, 5th and 6th inning.

Josh Spencer threw 4-innings spreading out 6 hits and allowing 3-runs, Kyle Nyblod threw the last 2-innings only allowing 1-hit and 2-runs.

3-PITCHERS COMBINE TO THROW 1-HIT SHUTOUT

Kassin Matson, Case Matter and Max Debiec combined to throw the 1-hit shut-out against Michaels Toyota while not walking a batter.

In the bottom of the 3rd Chaffey scored 3-runs, with one out Cam Munger singled into center, Kyle Nyblod came in to pinch run, Kyle was thrown out in an attempted steal. Henry Muench drew a walk, Jonathan Kumai singled into right moving Henry to 3rd, Jonas Kim walked to load the bases, Conner Nieman doubled into left center clearing the bases giving Chaffey a 3-0 lead. Cam finished the game going 2-for-2.

Max and Case hit back to back singles into right, JR Ritchie first on a throwing error by the 3rd basemen to load the bases, Nate reached first on a fielding error and scoring Max, Cam lined into left scoring Case and leaving the bases loaded, Henry was hit by a pitch forcing in Nate for Chaffey’s 6th run. Max also went 2-for-2 for the game.

COMEBACK FALLS SHORT IN 7TH

Down 8-2 in the bottom of the 7th Chaffey scored 4-runs and left the tieing run on base, Josh Spencer singled into right, Logan Moore followed with a base on balls, Jonas Kim came to the plate and hit a home run into left cutting lead to 8-5. Max singled into right and scored when Case doubled into right field from 1st base for Chaffey’s final run.

Chaffey scored the first run of the game when Ben Steck hit a solo home run into right center. In the bottom of the 5th Chaffey scored 2-additional runs Conner Nieman drew a base on balls and stole 2nd base, Adam hit a fielders choice reaching 1st, Adam stole 2nd base and scored when Jonas singled into center.

Nate Deschryver threw the first 3-innings only allowing 2-hits, Cam Munger threw 3-innings and Adam Fahsel closed the game out throwing the 7th inning.

Chaffey’s next game is against Toyota of Bellevue at 6:00 pm at Edmonds C.C. on Wednesday night.

CHAFFEY OUTLASTS BANDITS IN A 11-7 WIN

The Bandits scored 3-runs in the top of the 2nd, Chaffey came right back scoring 2-runs. Max Diebec doubled into right, Case Matter followed with a double scoring Max, Case advanced to 3rd on a wild pitch and scored when Jonathan Kumai hit a fielders choice, cutting the Bandit lead to 3-2. Max and Case both went 2-for-3 with each hitting a double.

In the 3rd Bandits scored a single run and Chaffey followed scoring a single run the match the Bandits, Adam doubled into left center, Cole followed with a single up the middle moving Adam to 3rd, Jonas hit a sac fly into center scoring Adam. Adam and Cole each went 2-for-4 for the game, with Adam also doubling.

Chaffey took a 1-run lead in the bottom of the 4th scoring 2-runs making the score 5-4. With 2-outs Loan Moore drew a base on balls and stole 2nd, Cam Munger reached 1st on a dropped 3rd strike. Ben doubled into right center scoring both Logan and Cam.

In the top of the 5th the Bandits scored a single run to know the game at 5-each, in the bottom of 6th Chaffey scored 6-runs to take an 11-5 lead. Max opened up the inning hitting a solo home run, Case, Jonathan and Hyatt each hit single to load the bases, Henry doubled into right scoring Case and Jonathan, Adam singled scoring Hyatt, Cole came to the plate and doubled into right center scoring Adam. The Bandits scored 2-runs in the top of the 7th-inning.

Kyle Nyblod threw the first 3-innings, Nathan Prinz threw the 4th and Conner Nieman came in to close the game out and the win.

MAX DEBIEC HITS 2-RUN HOMER TO LEAD CHAFFEY OVER SHOWTIME

In the bottom of the 2nd inning Jonas Kim lead off with a single, bring Max to the plate, with a 2-1 count he homered into left field to give Chaffey a 2-0 lead.

Showtime scored a single run to cut Chaffey’s lead to 2-1. Chaffey came right back in the bottom of the inning, Max drew a base on balls, Kyle Nyblod came in to pinch run, Case Matter had a bunt single followed bu Cam Munger’s single up the middle, Conner Nieman hit a sac fly into center scoring Kyle from 3rd extending Chaffey’s lead to 3-1.

Josh Spencer threw the first 5-innings spreading out 4-hits and only walking 1-batter, Case Matter threw the last 2-innings not allowing a hit.
