With the college season having just started we wanted to update how some of the players from last years team are doing. Mike Wagner is coming back from shoulder surgery playing 3rd-base and John Otness has recovered from his kidney injury playing 2nd-base both playing for the University of Washington. Mike Hass stayed healthy and is playing center field for the University of Nevada.
Through the first seven games of the University of Washington season Mike is hitting .400 and had a great weekend at Riverside going 2-for-3 in two of the games and 2-for-5 in the final game. John is hitting .250 with one double and is playing some second base for the Huskies.
Mike Hass is hitting .297 with two doubles for the University of Nevada. Defensive he continues to play outstanding ball with having 29 chances to date without an error. Against Stanford last week Mike was 2-for-2 with one run scored.
The battle to maintain a 4.0 grade point average continues to heat up. At this time Nic Hundley and Chris Minaker are both still maintaining their 4.0 averages in the classroom. Right behind them is Derek Snell, Nic Crosta and Stan Nicholl with a 3.9, all three having one B+ in lieu of all straight A’s.

We, the Chaffey Baseball players, would like to extend our sincerest thanks to all of you who supported and encouraged our love of the game.
Our generous sponsors, Herb & Fortunee Chaffey, along with Jim and Patty Stewart, Bill and Jennifer Cohen, and Jason Conover have given us the opportunity to reach our fullest potential both on and off the field.
Thank you to our Moms and Dads, extended family, and friends for filling the stands both home and away, for sharing in our victories, and supporting us in our defeats.
Without all of you our Chaffey Family would not be complete. Have a great Thanksgiving!
