If runs is what you wanted this one had a lot of players crossing the plate at home. Chaffey dropped the game to the Bandit’s 15 to 12 and trailed the entire game.
Chaffey scored its first runs in the bottom of the 2nd to cut the lead 3-2, Jack Smith doubled into right and Marcus McCannel singled into left scoring Jack, Marcus stole 2nd and moved to 3rd on the passed ball and scored on a 1st & 3rd double steal.
Chaffey scored a lone run in the bottom of the 3rd when Carter Booth singled into left and stole 2nd, he reached 3rd on a fielder’s choice and scored on a wild pitch, cutting the lead to 3-6.
In the bottom of the 4th down 10-3, Chaffey came back scoring 2-runs, Marcus lead the inning off with a solo homerun into right center, Derek Lohr reached 1st on an error, with back to back singles by Chris Miller and Henry Muench, Derek scored cutting the lead 10-5. Marcus finished the game going 3-for-4 with a homerun and scoring 3-runs.
The Bandits added 2-runs to take a 12-5 lead, in the bottom of the 5th Chaffey added 5-runs to cut the lead to 12-10. Andrew Walling drew a walk, Jack and Marcus hit back to back singles to load the bases, Derek singled into right scoring both Andrew and Jack, Chris Miller then hit a home run into right center scoring 3-runs. Chris went 2-for-4with a homerun and Derek also going 2-for-4 with a double and scored 3-runs.
In the bottom of the 7th Chaffey scored its last 2-runs, with one out Derek doubled into left and Chris Miller homered into left.
Wyatt Mosher threw the first 2-innings, Matt the 3rd and 4th, David Johnson the 5th and 6th with Carter Booth closing the game out.
