Chris has moved into the next phase of his academic career (or should I say life) by accepting a scholarship to attend Stanford University and pursue a degree in Political Science. He carries a 3.99 GPA at Edmonds Woodway High School. He was named the Spanish, History and Math student of the year, and received the Wesco Athletic Academic Achievement Award for 2000 & 2001. This will be Chris’s 4th year as a varsity player, and his 4th year as Chaffey’s short stop. Chris was 15-years old when he broke into our infield in the World Series in San Diego–when he came into the game after an injury to one of our players and has never looked back. He has either been out lead-off or hit second in the lineup for the past three years and has hit over .450 each year. Chris will continue his baseball fortunes as a middle infielder at Stanford.
