Chaffey ended the season going 8-1 in the USABF World Series in San Diego, with their final loss to the San Diego Rookies at San Diego State University.
At the completion of each game an MVP was named:
Game one vs. the San Diego Crush, Josh Monroe was the MVP striking out ten of the fifteen batters he faced.
Game two vs. the San Diego Shockers, Mike Stoves was the MVP, coming in long relief for the win.
Game three vs. the Nor Cal Yankies, Billy Boyer going 2-for-3 with two RBI’s.
Game four vs. the Arizona Jammer’s, Ben Mummy went 3-for-3 with two runs scored.
Game five vs. the Firestone Rangers, John Addison went 3-for-3 with two runs scored.
Game six vs. Taylor Baseball, Billy Boyer went 2-for-4 with a two run homerun to win the game in the eighth.
Game seven vs. Parma Ohio, Josh Monroe was the winning pitcher, at one time retiring 14 straight batters.
Game eight vs. Olympia Pepsi, Zach Kimball and Will Fenton, combined for the eleventh inning win striking out 15 batters over eleven innings.
