Chaffey and Bellevue Honda played to tie at seven each after eight innings.
Down by 6-1 Chaffey battled back to tie the game in the top of seventh at 7-7.
Matt Hague singled up the middle after back to back walks in the top of the first by Billy Boyer and Ben Mummy to score Billy and cut Honda’s lead to 4-1. Matt Hague ended the game going 3-for-4 with 5-rbi’s.
Bradley Boyer reached first in the top of the third on a throwing error by the short stop, Billy Boyer singled into right and stole second, Matt Hague singled into left scoring both Bradley and Billy to cut the lead to 6-3. Billy went 2-for-3 with 3-runs scored.
With one out in the top of the fifth Ben Mummy double into right and stole third, Matt Hague hit a fielders choice into the hole at short to score Ben and cut the lead back to three at 7-4.
In the top of the seventh Bradley Boyer drew a lead off walk, John Addison and Billy Boyer both hit back to back singles to load the bases, Matt Hague singled up the middle to score Bradley, Kevin Corrigan doubled off the wall in right to score both John and Billy to knot the game at seven.
Brian Cox fought through the first six innings settling down after the second to only give up one run in his last four innings, Josh Monroe came in the seventh and Kevin Corrigan the eighth in relief.
Chaffey’s next game is tonight at 5:15PM again Ryder at Bannerwood.
